Nicholas Chua joins as Southeast Asia Service and Support Manager; Carlos Junco appointed Sales Associate for Mexico
Beta LaserMike, a leading global provider of precision measurement and control solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of two key individuals to better serve its growing base of customers in Southeast Asia and Mexico. Nicholas Chua joins Beta LaserMike as Service and Support Manager for Southeast Asia. Carlos Junco is appointed the new regional sales associate for Mexico.
“With the addition of Nicholas and Carlos to the Beta LaserMike Sales and Service team, we are confident in our ability to expand both our market presence and enhance our levels of customer service throughout Southeast Asia and the emerging Latin American countries,” says Ken Wright, President of Beta LaserMike.
Mr. Chua brings a wealth of customer-facing and hands-on technical experience to the Beta LaserMike Asia team. He’ll be responsible for supporting and developing the Beta LaserMike customer base and sales channel in Southeast Asia. Mr. Chua will provide sales and technical consultation, deliver product and applications training, and build relationships with customers and channel partners in target market segments.
Mr. Chua has over 14 years of leadership experience in product engineering, consultative technical support, and various facets of customer sales and service with companies such as Laser 21 Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based supplier of laser and optical systems, and Agilis Communications Technologies Pte Ltd, a leading provider of electronic system solutions.
Mr. Chua holds a bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is multi-lingual with fluency in English, Mandarin, and Hokkien, and has completed national service in law enforcement.
Mr. Junco will have overall responsibility for the growth and development of business in Mexico and will continue to provide technical support to existing Beta LaserMike customers in this region as well as Central America and the Caribbean. Mr. Junco will also be responsible for the management of Beta LaserMike’s agents and representatives in Mexico. He will play a key role in delivering Beta LaserMike’s complete portfolio of solutions to all industrial markets.
Mr. Junco has been working for Beta LaserMike since 2006 as a field service engineer. His extensive field service experience includes the on-site installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of laser and ultrasonic measurement and control systems, as well as the technical support and training of customers. Mr. Junco holds a bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering and has received training in a wide range of technical subjects including process control, software design, and industrial automation.
