Appointments include new, seasoned global services management team, addition of district sales manager, and expansion of sales responsibilities

Beta LaserMike, a leading global provider of precision measurement and control solutions, recently appointed four key management to further the company’s focus in delivering world-class customer service and product solutions to the markets and customers it serves. Ken Bornhorst comes to Beta LaserMike as Director of Global Service and Business Development. Ian Warren is appointed Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Service Manager. Charles Wrinkle is named District Sales Manager for the Southeast US region and Mike Cooley assumes the South Central US region.

This will strategically provide for expanded services and capabilities on a number of fronts and open up real opportunities for both us and our customers.”

As Director of Global Services and Business Development, Ken Bornhorst has overall responsibility for structuring and developing a high-performance global service organization to deliver pre-eminent services and technical solutions to customers. He will also drive the company’s service expansion strategy and growth objectives through next-level relationships, technical consultation, and tailored, comprehensive customer-value implementation programs.

Mr. Bornhorst possesses over two decades of experience in operations, global service, engineering, and business development. Previous management responsibilities have included Director of Operations for Gleason Metrology Systems, General Manager at Thinkpath, Inc., Manager of Engineering and Global Services at Ohio Electronic Engravers, Inc., and Principal Engineer for the Advanced Development Group at Monarch Marking Systems. In these positions, Mr. Bornhorst was responsible for driving business opportunity realization, technical innovation, operational performance, and best-in-class service and support.

As EMEA Service Manager, Ian Warren will oversee the overall customer service and support operation in this region as well as play a key role in optimizing best practices in service delivery. He will work closely with Mr. Bornhorst to execute strategic service and support programs in-line with the company’s mission. Mr. Warren also brings over 20 years of extensive experience in leading an EMEA-based customer service and support organization. For the past seven years, Mr. Warren served as Technical Support Manager for GE Fanuc UK Ltd where he was responsible for expanding and delivering value-driven service contract opportunities, increasing service revenues, and implementing quality measures to increase customer satisfaction. Prior to this, he held the Service Director position at CNC Systems in Lyon, France and European Sales and Service Director position at Boston Digital.

As District Sales Manager, Charles Wrinkle will have overall responsibility for the growth and development of the Southeast US sales territory, as well as the management of Beta LaserMike’s agents and representatives in this region. He will play a key role in delivering Beta LaserMike’s complete portfolio of solutions to all industrial markets.

Mr. Wrinkle brings to his position over 14 years of business development and sales management experience. Most recently, Mr. Wrinkle served as business development analyst for Corning Cable Systems. While in this position, he was responsible for securing opportunities for the Project Services Group which involved developing technical proposals for regional planners and engineers, and rolling out sales training programs to corporate regional offices. Prior to Corning, Mr. Wrinkle held various integral sales management and product sales specialist positions with the Hendricks Group, Guaranteed Supply Company, and Mid-Atlantic Associates, to name a few.

Beta LaserMike also announces expanded sales responsibilities for Mike Cooley, District Sales Manager for the Central US. His new responsibilities include the addition of the South Central region which consists of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. Mr. Cooley presently is responsible for managing the sales activities in the North Central region which includes Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. In addition to account management, Mr. Cooley will be responsible for managing the network of agents and representatives in this new region.

A seasoned sales manager, Mr. Cooley has been with Beta LaserMike for over 22 years. He has in-depth experience in helping companies optimize productivity, improve product quality, and reduce waste through accurate process control. Mr. Cooley will continue to deliver the company’s comprehensive line of measurement and control solutions to all industrial markets in this region.
