Dayton, OH – December 4, 2012 – Beta LaserMike, a leading global provider of precision measurement and control solutions, has appointed Martin Wang as its new China Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Wang will be based at the Spectris Shanghai office and report to Stuart Manser, Beta LaserMike’s Director of Asia Sales. (Beta LaserMike is a Spectris company. Spectris is a leading supplier of productivity enhancing instrumentation and controls.)
"With his solid technical and sales background in optical measurement systems, Mr. Wang has the key tools and experience to help us develop our gauging and controls business in China,” said Stuart Manser, Director of Asia Sales with Beta LaserMike. “His appointment is a key part of Beta LaserMike’s strategy to expand our footprint around the globe and to focus on the potential represented in China.”
Prior to joining Beta LaserMike, Mr. Wang was the Regional Sales Manager for FARO International in Shanghai. FARO is a portable 3D measurement arms and technology company. Prior to FARO, Mr. Wang worked at 3DFAMILY Technology Company where he responsible for the software development of the company’s optical imaging and laser scanning measurement systems. He has considerable experience in working with a wide range of customers in a broad spectrum of manufacturing industries in China, which will be particularly important for delivering system solutions that help organizations improve product quality, increase productivity, and realize bottom-line results.
Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor’s degree from Liaoning (NE China) University of Science and Technology in Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Automation. He also holds a Masters degree from the same university in Electronic Engineering.
