Ethem Erdas to drive continued sales growth in the Western USA region through direct and channel partner sales

Beta LaserMike, a leading global provider of precision measurement and control solutions, has appointed Ethem Erdas as Western USA District Sales Manager.

In his position, Mr. Erdas will be responsible for the market penetration of Beta LaserMike’s products and services with key customer accounts and target market segments. A key role will be working with channel partners to drive continued sales growth in the Western USA region. This involves the delivery of company’s non-contact measurement and control solutions and services across a range of industries, such as wire and cable, metals, pipe and tube, converting, and metrology-related applications. Mr. Erdas will be based in California.

“Ethem brings a comprehensive skill set and expertise to our existing and potential customers across the Western part of the USA,” says Bob Stockholm, Director of Sales for the Americas at Beta LaserMike. “His deep knowledge of the company’s measurement and control products and industrial markets are in line with his new position. Ethem’s years with Beta LaserMike have trained him to focus on the customer’s needs and managing the deployment of solutions. This will be integral to our success in this region.”

Mr. Erdas has been with Beta LaserMike for 22 years and has held various technical and managerial roles including Final Test Group Leader, Service Manager for European operations, and most recent, Product Manager for the company’s Wire & Cable and Extrusion markets. Over the years, Mr. Erdas has been actively involved in numerous customer projects where his technical expertise and consultation played a significant role in winning sales orders.

Mr. Erdas holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Dayton and has taken advanced courses to an MBA degree. Mr. Erdas has a number of technical papers to his name and has received several prestigious industry awards towards the contribution and advancement of measurement technology in wire and cable production applications.
