Beta LaserMike, a leading global provider of precision measurement and control solutions, will exhibit the latest non-contact measurement solutions for plastics production at NPE 2012 International Plastics Exposition in Orlando, Florida from April 1 through 5. Attendees will see first-hand the many advantages of using Beta LaserMike’s non-contact gauges to accurately measure and control all aspects of their production process, such as product diameter, wall thickness, eccentricity, length and speed.
Beta LaserMike will be exhibiting its AccuScan system, an advanced laser gauge that provides non-contact measurement of diameter and ovality for increased manufacturing accuracy. The latest AS5000 series offers more than twice the measurement rate at 2400 measurements per second with unique facet calibration for high accuracy, single-scan measurement data.
Beta LaserMike will also be showing its DataPro process controller and data management system. Simple to operate, this advanced tool continuously monitors product dimensions and automatically controls the line to keep production processes and product quality under control. New capabilities include one-touch navigation, printing, enhanced data logging, automatic process control, and Ethernet communication. The system’s process controller uses the latest in software PLC and field-bus technologies, providing advanced functionality and flexibility while remaining easy to use.
